Counseling
I am a relational therapist who supports clients experiencing anxiety, OCD, panic, and depression, as well as those who are navigating life transitions, including emerging adulthood, pregnancy, parenting, and divorce.
When our lives change, we often experience unexpected and contradictory feelings. Sometimes excitement and joy walk alongside fear and doubt. We may find that external shifts require a reexamination of old beliefs or patterns that no longer serve us. I hope to offer a space for safe exploration in the context of a trusting relationship.
I hold graduate degrees in Mental Health Counseling and Creative Writing, and my clinical work draws on the same spirit of creativity I rely on as a writer. I am committed to remaining curious with you about what shows up in the unfolding story of your life.
About Me
I received clinical training at the Center on Halsted, where I provided individual and group counseling to members of Chicago’s LGBTQ community. My post-graduate fellowship took place at the Center for Contextual Change, where I received training in the Collaborative Stage Model and trauma-informed Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I take an integrative approach, drawing from my training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), cognitive models, and somatic techniques.
